My recent stay here, though only for one night, turned out to be quite a memorable experience. Despite the hotel’s dated features, which some may find unappealing, it suffices for all basic needs. The bed was adequately comfortable, and I appreciated the cleanliness of my room upon arrival. It was the on-site dining that truly caught my attention. The restaurant features an inviting ambiance; I enjoyed breakfast there—a surprise in terms of variety and cost. While the breakfast could do with some fine-tuning, it didn't detract from the overall culinary experience. After feasting, I explored nearby eateries, and the bustling atmosphere along the way hinted at the exciting food scene that Brisbane offers. In summary, Turbot House may not be the newest kid on the block, but its location and food landscape make it a practical choice for food enthusiasts eager to explore the local gastronomy. I would consider returning on my next visit to Brisbane.
